Recently, I feel like I have been a blogging delinquent. It is not for lack of time in the kitchen, but for lack of free time in the kitchen. Our lives have been super busy lately. We welcomed a new nephew to the family, Jeffrey got injured in a soccer game, William and Tyler continue to have busy soccer schedules, October is birthday month at our house, PTA commitments and I have a completely booked the end of September and all October for catering jobs. Is it November yet?
All of these things have kept me from my normal “free time” in the kitchen. It is quite a bummer because finding time to experiment in the kitchen is one of my favorite things and it is usually a stress reliever for me. Since I don’t have time in the near future to “experiment”, I thought I would just share what’s cooking this week in my kitchen.
I hope it gives you some inspiration. Who knows, maybe I can find a few extra moments to try some new things, but until then here’s what’s cooking this week in my kitchen:
Poppy Seed Chicken, Green beans, Carrots, Rolls, Harvest Apple Salad, and White Chocolate Raspberry Bars.
French Toast Casserole, Bacon, Fresh Fruit
Roast Turkey and Havarti Sandwiches on Ciabatta bread with red pepper pesto, spinach, and caramelized onions.
Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Cheesecake
Fruit, Granola, Yogurt, Fresh Scones
Baked Potatoes, Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette, Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pulled Pork, Cheesy Potato Casserole, Slaw, Baked Beans, Rolls, and Oreo Dessert
Breakfast Casserole, fresh fruit, mini muffins
Sandwich bar platter, pasta salad, chips and brownies.
After typing out my menu for catering this week, it looks like I will have some new recipes to share after all.
