These no bake chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies are the cookies from my childhood. If asked to make cookies, this is what mom would make. I think she loved to make these because they are super easy and in a matter of 15 minutes you are completely finished. There is no keeping an eye on the oven, cooling cookies on the pan then transferring them to the rack to finish cooling.
These cookies you mix up in your saucepan, spoon onto wax paper and then enjoy. It is a great quick recipe. I don’t make them very often because they are not Jeffrey’s favorite cookie but the other day I was craving comfort. They were just what I needed. Both William and Tyler really enjoyed them so I am sure I will be making them more often now.
If you are looking for a great after school treat, this would be a great one. Quick to make and quite delicious.
